Arn-Identified Flying Objects & Alien Friends releases New Single

No Sweet Dreams

ARN-IDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS AND ALIEN FRIENDS released a double album and several singles in 2021. “The Latter,” which was co-produced by the Merrymakers’ David Myhr, blends power pop, folk, and indie rock elements. Despite the fact that several of the songs are rooted in 1960s and 1970s music, there is no sense of nostalgia on this album. The lines are honest and beautiful, at times hilarious, but always current and true. Several musicians have contributed to this project.

REDMOON is a Swedish rock band in which Alien Friends formerly played guitar and sang. He is working on this by himself. Apart from multi-instrumentalist David Myhr, who supplies lead vocals and performs multiple instruments on several of the tracks, the other members of REDMOON, Daniel Lagerlöf, Ke Lindgren, and Johan Lundström, must also be recognized. There will be more good news shortly from this amazing collaboration.

Three brand-new singles would have been released in 2022. The melancholy “By Your Bed,” the first of them, was released in May. At the beginning of 2023, a full-length album will be published.

The newest song by Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends is titled “No Sweet Dreams.” A beautiful, melancholy ballad with lyrical and intimate lyrics This song begins with a synth that gradually increases in volume before giving way to a surge of forceful percussion, acoustic guitars, and a familiar melodic whistle that plays throughout the song. It has a distinguishing feature! The health concerns of Arne’s loved ones served as the song’s original drive, but as it evolved, it took on a life of its own.

The excellent drumming of Andreas Quinzy Dahlbäck stands out more in the song. The pace is accompanied by sharply strung guitar chords, a big and funky bass line, and even a string choir! The lines have a strong magnetic pull on us, and the chorus is expertly constructed. A sorrowful song about love, or at least memories of love, “No Sweet Dreams” also seems to be about illness or perhaps drug usage. The publication date was December 3, 2022.

Listen to this fantastic song right away; you’ll be amazed.
