She draws inspiration from artistic icons like Linkin Park and Evanescence among others. She ensures her music conveys heartfelt messages, which is what makes her standout in the music scene. In a world where musicians make music just for the fun of it, she ensures that her songs have a deep connection with whoever listens, thereby making her an artist to watch out for.
Having this brief Introduction, I’m sure new and current fans must be excited about our Interview today.
“Psychological $uicide” was inspired by my personal struggles with mental health, feeling overwhelmed and suicidal caused by internal turmoil and trauma that needed heeling . I wanted to capture the emotional intensity of that experience.
It means I am doing what I love both making music, being creative and helping people.
Crafting this song was therapeutic, allowing me to confront and process my emotions. It helped me find solace in vulnerability and I hope to now support others through dark times.
Burnout faced more of a challenge in regards to pushing people away, where as this is more the act of saying your okay when your not.
The title represents the silent, internal battles many face. It acknowledges the painful struggle to find solace amidst chaos. For me, it symbolises intentional dissociation as a way to cope with suicidal thoughts instead of physically ending life my I mentally ended my life.
Other song with a message is burnout and about pushing your loved ones away when your suffering mental health.
In the studio, I aimed to create an immersive, visceral experience. I experimented with distorted guitars, haunting melodies, and introspective lyrics to convey raw emotion. I wanted heavy, haunting, scratchy dark- like everything inside my head.
The only difficulty is finding the right producers to help me showcase what’s in my head into reality.
This song fitted in perfectly with a completely unique authentic Tahani vibe.
People either love “Psychological $uicide” or they hate! My fans of course love it as it’s completely me.
I am on TikTok @tahani_music so can be reached there.
Next, I’m exploring themes of hope and healing. My upcoming project hopes to be less intensive more fun. Every I write is from experience so whatever comes next it will have shaped my life previously.
I am quite a low key private person and haven’t hugely showcased me music other than social media. I am not trying to noticed or famous I am just having fun and hoping my music can help others with their mental health.
One thing they may know is that I am married – I have a wife Mickey and we’ve been together 5 years.
I am completely authentic and fearless in my creativity. I now prioritise vulnerability, mental health and supporting others through turmoil. I only write about real experiences.
This has been an exciting session for us all Tahani, I believe fans and anyone out there just discovering your music for the first time are equally excited about this project. Thank you for the privilege to experience this masterpiece, its been an honor.
Here is my thought on what i have to say after listening to “Psychological $uicide”:
I specially loved the vocal delivery in this song, it felt authentic and remained steadfast even when the instrumentation became more lively and pulsing. The vocal never lost its touch even amidst chaos. The instrumentation also did it for me, the transformation from a much more laid-back delivery into a vibrant lively mix had me in a chokehold. This song effortlessly calls for repeated listens, making it a musical gem in the music world.
Finally to our audience, I urge to listen to “Psychological $uicide”, add it to your playlist and be Inspired by it and on behalf of Dulaxi I like to appreciate you all by saying thank you everyone, See you on our next interview.
