Todd Morse presents us with Screaming Babies, a great punk anthem

Screaming Babies by Todd Morse

Todd Morse of “The Offspring” released “Screaming Babies,” his first solo single in three years, on November 18 with Manic Kat Records.

Todd Morse is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. who has spent over two decades making music, recording it, and playing in bands such as New York hardcore band H2O, Juliette, and the Licks, Operation M.D., and is now the bassist for the multi-platinum band The Offspring

The song “Screaming Babies” is a catchy punk anthem that criticizes online tough people who reject empathy while relishing the opportunity to offend others on social media. Morse has traveled far enough to have changed from a single man who found crying babies annoying to a father who empathizes with the young and has no time for whiny adults, according to the phrase that inspired the song. In his original band, he brings a similar style and energy. The song, which combines elements of ska punk and alternative rock, exudes such youthful exuberance and fun that it’s impossible not to fall in love with it.

The chorus of “Screaming Babies” will have you screaming along with Todd Morse. It’s a refreshing and nostalgic song, and it’s just plain fun from a talented artist who deserves to be recognized for his solo work as much as his celebrated band.

Listen to “Screaming Babies” now; it’s out and available on Spotify, and remember to follow Todd on social media.
