Rebecca Helen is a talented singer/songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa. Rebecca’s musical journey started early due to her father’s career as a classical singing teacher and her family’s strong roots in music education. At the age of 7, she competed in her first singing contest, earning various awards, and also took up piano lessons with the Royal Schools of Music. Rebecca’s artistic talents also involve dancing, as she received training in ballet, modern, and contemporary dance, leading her to become a ballet instructor. At present, she juggles her positions as an independent photographer, business owner, and musician.
Rebecca has played with many different bands throughout her career, such as 3Dimensions, a band she established with her sisters, Vanessa and Stephanie. They have performed at many Cape Town locations and made two Eps together. Rebecca made a major move towards a solo career in 2019 by working with Australian producer Mick Evans, songwriter Rebeka Rain, and musician Duncan Mackay to record the POP/Dance album “Musical Life”. She worked together with famed songwriter Alan Roy Scott as well. Her independent music career kept developing, and in 2022, she started collaborating with Sasha Righini, a musician and producer nominated for SAMA awards. Rebecca is presently concentrating on developing fresh content within the indie/dance/pop category, aiming to work with artists worldwide and advance her music career.
