Born and brought up in Chicago, TE/MO, also recognized as Teagan Earley, is a rising pop musician and singer-songwriter. Having experience in both classical music and musical theatre, she has smoothly shifted into the pop music industry with her distinct style known as “spooky pop.” This style blends her formal education in classical music with cinematic, drama-filled soundscapes and deeply personal, often literary lyrics. TE/MO started composing poetry and songs when she was 12, however, she didn’t reveal her work to the public until 2024. Taking cues from musicians like Taylor Swift, TE/MO is committed to sharing her personal narratives through music, injecting a new and genuine perspective into the realm of pop music. She works with JP Warner, a musical genius and college friend, and Joey Grace, a producer and close friend, as well as other collaborators.

TE/MO’s “The MOTHER EP,” which came out on May 10th, 2024, is a heartfelt and intimate collection of songs that sprang from a traumatic event in December 2022. TE/MO was told incorrectly after numerous misdiagnoses during an ER visit for extreme pain and internal bleeding that she would be unable to have children. The EP was created in different places such as Kansas City, Chicago, LA, Long Beach, and Philadelphia over a year and a half. TE/MO, JP Warner, Joey Grace, Joey Chelius, and Jim Augustine made up the production team. In every song on the EP, a different viewpoint is presented on TE/MO’s journey of dealing with struggles and finding healing.
