KITE- Lie to me

Four letters, one name: “Kite.” Kite produces a thrilling world of pounding drums and droning synths that is rich with beautiful melodies. Rapper and visual artist KITE resides in London. Born in Nigeria but nurtured in West London, he developed a love for music as a youngster. The West London rapper, who is of Nigerian descent, started making music in 2017, and his first Soundcloud release, “MY GOAT,” which was an artistic tribute to Lionel Messi and soccer, came out the following year. He gradually developed a taste for the music of musicians like Drake, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Playboi Carti, and Yeat, whose sound captivated the young musician and became his primary influence, as seen in the creation of songs like “Go Pro Freestyle”

His musical career began in 2017 when he made the decision to voice his emotions as well as those of all the young people in London.

The positive feedback prompted him to work with greater commitment and dedication to his music and thus raise the bar for its quality. Between 2020 and 2021, KITE released singles such as “Bool Boy,” “ON IT,” and “Live And Maintain.” They also prepared listeners for the artist’s debut EP, “Bool Boy, Vol. 1.” It’s an EP with an international flavor that managed to give listeners an overview of Kite as an artist.

With a catalog of album-worthy Soundcloud throwaways and singles, Kite has set an exceedingly high bar for all of his music to come. His unique approach to trap-type beats with sing-song melodies separates his craft from the rest. ‘Already being a fan and inspired. My twin brother came to me with the idea of making music, and after seeing his passion, I decided to give it a try. We started going to the studio, and we just haven’t stopped since. “We’ve always had a love for music, and I think we have an ear for it too.” “I want to have fun with my music as well as enjoy the experience.” One day, I want to be able to say, “I’ve sold out shows and have a solid, loyal fanbase.” Kite’s debut EP, “Bool Boy Volume 1,” was released almost a year ago, and Volume 2 is scheduled for this coming winter.

The single was recorded at Nugen Studios and was born out of heartbreak. Listening to the song, you sense that, like the forthcoming EP, it’s inspired by modern women in the dating scene, drug abuse, and sobriety, giving insight into an artist’s love life. The Nigerian rapper opened this year with his single “Usher,” in collaboration with KE.

This single showed how much Kite has improved and matured over the years, becoming one of the most promising artists on the English music scene. The great feedback from his fans has prompted the artist to release new music. Currently, he’s released his new single, “Lie To Me.” The song “Lie To Me” is the first single from the project. The release date was November 18th, 2022.
