John Joseph – Float A stunning new song called "Float" has been released by New Jersey-born singer-songwriter and artist John Joseph. His band is composed of bassist Gabriel Paiano and drummer Harry Smith. They are all pursuing diplomas at "The New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music." Just over three minutes long, their most recent song, "Float," manages to keep you on the edge of your seat. The 2018 EP "Say When" and the mini-EP "Sunday Demos" are a few of John Joseph's earlier EPs. The group has played in New York City locations including Pianos, The Hart Bar, Pete's Candy Store, The Delancey, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, Heaven Can Wait, Footlight Underground, and others. The band became good friends while attending The New School to study jazz, and their friendship readily translated into their musical cooperation. The Front Bottoms, Alex G, The Strokes, Pavement, Bob Dylan, and The Great American Songbook are among their principal influences. On November 19, 2022, New York City-based musician John Joseph released Float, his debut song. It includes Harry Smith on percussion and Gabe Paiano on bass guitar. This lively indie-pop tune has appealing melodies and well-written lyrics. It is one of the 10 songs that make up the next full-length EP, "Sunday," which will be available in the spring of 2023. "Much of our earlier works, including this single, "Float," was influenced by the indie sleaze movement that dominated New York City in the 2000s, with an emphasis on strong lyrics," says John Joseph A single, boxy-sounding snare strike signals the start of "Float." This is accompanied by a piercing vintage electro-organ riff and melodic rhythm guitars. The rhythm guitars are subsequently followed by the vocals. The inclusion of all the guitar, organ, and vocals in the chorus and pre-chorus broadens the scope of the arrangement. The drums play consistently and quickly, releasing bursts of fills that are filled with ferocious intensity. The rhythm and groove keep the heartbeat constant, even if they sound like they're going to burst. In the song's last stanza, all of the components and the instruments burst with energy.
