Christopher Rodriguez — Whom Seek Ye

Hello everyone it’s your host Daniel from Dulaxi, and today I have with me the exceptional artist, Christopher Rodriguez from Pueblo, Colorado, United States. And Christopher Rodriguez is here to discuss his recent original single “Whom Seek Ye”, which was released on April 19th, 2026. So, welcome, Christopher Rodriguez! But before we begin our interview, to our audience; here is what you need to know about this artist.

Christopher Rodriguez is a prolific recording artist from Pueblo, Colorado, United States, known as the Home of the Heroes, a place whose resilience strongly reflects in his artistic identity. He is a spiritually driven songwriter who blends poetry with soulful musical expression, drawing deeply from biblical teachings and narratives that shape both his lyrical phrasing and structural approach to music. His creative foundation is influenced by figures such as King David, Moses, Abraham, Noah, and the Prophets, with The Bible itself positioned as a central guiding force in his songwriting process. A devoted husband and father of five, Rodriguez channels his lived experiences, faith, and conviction into music that prioritizes purpose over convention, maintaining an extraordinary output of over seventy songs released on YouTube within a single year, all recorded from his hometown studio. This dedication has established him as an artist committed to spiritual expression and message-driven creation. His original single, “Whom Seek Ye,” released on April 19th, 2026, stands as a defining example of his vision, constructed around a direct spiritual question that challenges listeners to examine their priorities and relationship with Jesus amidst what he describes as widespread global distraction and deception. The track is structurally unconventional, featuring experimental arrangements and phonetic vocal passages described as “almost incomprehensible but completely coherent,” designed to mirror the depth and complexity of spiritual revelation. Through this release, Rodriguez delivers a bold, faith-centered composition that blends experimental sound with reflective messaging, offering listeners, both believers and seekers alike, a deeply introspective perspective on truth, purpose, and spiritual awareness in contemporary life.

Having this brief Introduction about Christopher Rodriguez, I’m sure new and current fans must be excited about our Interview today.

INTERVIEW SESSION

Daniel: Growing up in Pueblo, Colorado, a city known as the “Home of the Heroes,” how has the resilience of your hometown shaped both your personality and your artistic identity?

Christopher Rodriguez: My Hometown taught me people can adapt to their environments. And not only that, but people can also overcome their adversity that comes from certain environments.

Daniel: As a husband, father of five, and prolific songwriter with over seventy releases this year alone, how do your personal experiences influence the emotional depth and spiritual focus of your music?

Christopher Rodriguez: For me I get Live out my songs not just sing them. The bible says “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
So I believe even before family and friends, children and ourselves, we need to put Jesus Christ and our relationship with Him first, without a relationship with Him your life will always feel empty.

Daniel: Your music draws heavily from biblical figures such as King David, Moses, Abraham, Noah, and the Prophets. What is it about these voices and stories that continues to inspire your songwriting approach?

Christopher Rodriguez: These voices inspire my voice to speak the same Truth they did. The bible says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” And I believe the Truth that King David, Moses, Abraham, Noah, and the prophets all knew this same Truth, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Daniel: “Whom Seek Ye” immediately presents listeners with a powerful question. What inspired you to build the entire song around that direct spiritual challenge?

Christopher Rodriguez: I chose to do this because the question has an answer and everyone has their own personal answer to that question. And I’ve asked myself the same question. I know there are people seeking for themselves, or seeking for a person to marry. But people also seek out money or status or desires the same way and all of these things are what we know and have heard is not what our souls truly desire and seek out. We should seek out the face of God, Truth and Life, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Daniel: You describe the song as addressing a “great deception” that distracts people from truth and their relationship with Jesus. What moments or observations in today’s world pushed you to express that message so boldly?

Christopher Rodriguez: I see it everywhere. People watch things all day, people work for money all day, some people can sleep all day or work out all day. People have endless hobbies and endless responsibilities that they have chosen. All of these things are time spent, time we will never get back. And one day each person will come upon their last hour of life, no matter how old, and they will know how much of their time they actually spent with Jesus.

Daniel: One of the most striking statements you made was that there is “no other song lyrically equivalent.” What makes the lyrical construction and message of “Whom Seek Ye” so unique in your eyes?

Christopher Rodriguez: The way that I chose to write I have not seen written to this extent. The words are not being spoken quickly like in other rap songs, they have been written with words that rhyme continuously throughout the verse. I am not rhyming 3 or 4 words in a sentence, I’m rhyming 2 or 3 sentences in a verse.

Daniel: The line of thought surrounding people worrying more about worldly events than their spiritual lives feels deeply central to the song. Why was it important for you to confront that issue directly through music?

Christopher Rodriguez: I wanted to confront that issue because I believe the first step to change is confrontation of the issue at hand. I think we try to jump from The Issue straight to the Answer and we forget to ask the Right Question.

Daniel: The title itself, “Whom Seek Ye,” feels timeless and deeply reflective. What do you hope listeners discover about themselves when they truly sit with that question?

Christopher Rodriguez: I first hope the listeners will discover what they are really seeking after in their lives, and after they confront that, I pray they seek after Christ, because that path leads to eternal life and this life is so short. If you get to live to be the average expected age, which is, 79 years old, that’s only 28,855 days on Earth. I’m 33 years old already, that’s 12,054 days, that means I’m expected to live only 16,801 days. That doesn’t appear to be that long to me, so I would like to spend the remaining time for Christ. And my hope is the listeners will meditate on their own numbers.

Daniel: You mentioned that the structure of this track is different from all other music. How did you approach building such an unconventional arrangement while still keeping the message coherent and impactful?

Christopher Rodriguez: It was less of me building something and more of me finding a certain style of writing, that I wasn’t familiar with and catching the flow of the words, instead of forcing things to say what I wanted them to, I let the words speak for themselves.

Daniel: The phonetic sections are described as “almost incomprehensible but completely coherent.” What was the creative and emotional experience like while recording those sections?

Christopher Rodriguez: It was hard at first but I find Truth will just roll off the tongue if you believe it, unlike lies are more forced and manipulated to say what they need to to convince the listeners.

Daniel: Since you consider the Bible the key contributor to this song, how did scripture practically influence the rhythm, phrasing, and overall composition of the track?

Christopher Rodriguez: The song is filled with countless bible verses and bible fragments, and Truth, no matter how you phrase it will never seize to be Truth. If I was to add something that didn’t fit, it would show itself to be separate from Truth and separate from the message even incoherent.

Daniel: Looking back on your artistic journey so far, what has been the biggest lesson you have learned about faith, purpose, and music?

Christopher Rodriguez: I’ve learned that faith, purpose and music are secondary to my relationship with Jesus Christ, I have faith because He gave His Life for me to have Faith in. I have purpose because without Him, I would have no message. And without Christ I would have no music, because I would not be able to worship The Almighty God in Truth.

Daniel: Releasing over seventy songs in such a short period requires extraordinary discipline and conviction. What keeps you creatively motivated at such an intense pace?

Christopher Rodriguez: God really places a fire inside of people and things you wouldn’t even believe you could do, become possible and easy, it’s like if you place a piece of paper over a fire, the fire doesn’t have to work to burn the paper, it’s the natural effect of the fire.

Daniel: Your work stands apart from conventional songwriting structures and trends. Have you ever felt pressure to make your music more commercially accessible, and how do you stay true to your vision?

Christopher Rodriguez: No I don’t feel pressured to make the songs come out any particular way. I made music originally to sing to God. So I appreciate Him being with me when I make him songs because I wouldn’t want to sing a song for Him if I didn’t even like it.

Daniel: Recording from your hometown studio gives your music a very personal atmosphere. How important is it for you to remain connected to your roots while creating spiritually driven art?

Christopher Rodriguez: Well I’m actually going to be traveling, so I will not be just making music from my hometown, I will be traveling and making music in a mobile studio. I will now be spreading this message as far as God takes me. The roots grow upward and branch out eventually. And to everything there is a season.

Daniel: Your music often feels more like a mission than entertainment. At this stage of your life and career, what do you believe your true purpose as an artist is?

Christopher Rodriguez: I believe my purpose is to spread Gods Word to the ends of the Earth through my music and fellowship and everyway possible. I believe we all should be doing that, because like I said Life is Short

Daniel: Because “Whom Seek Ye” is such a bold and unconventional record, what kinds of reactions or conversations have surprised you most from listeners so far?

Christopher Rodriguez: My favorite thus far is the questions that it births inside the listeners, because they are each have their own personal self reflection and self revelation.

Daniel: You mentioned that this song is for everyone, whether they already have a relationship with Jesus or not. How do you hope audiences from different backgrounds connect with its message?

Christopher Rodriguez: I have the hope that the audiences from different backgrounds remember where they come from. Beyond history and beyond legends and myths, back to Abraham and Noah and Adam and God. We are all connected no matter our race or religion or culture or tradition or politics. We all live here on Earth together, we all eat the foods here, whether plants or animals or both. I hope the audiences from different backgrounds as well as the ones that have a relationship with Jesus look past the distractions and differences and see that we are all made in the image of God and the Bible says,
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Daniel: With the momentum you currently have and the number of songs you continue to release, what can listeners expect from Christopher Rodriguez in the coming months?

Christopher Rodriguez: Expect to see something New, even I don’t know what it will be, but it will be something amazing because it will be from God. And He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Daniel: As you continue your musical journey, what lasting impact do you hope songs like “Whom Seek Ye” will leave on both your audience and the broader music landscape?

Christopher Rodriguez: I hope the audience gets a chance to grow in a relationship with Christ and I hope all genres of music will all soon be worshipping Jesus Christ with their talents. I always pray to one day hear every song that is being played no matter the genre is glorifying the One who gave His Life for us and rose it up again on the third day, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Having Had A Close Listen To This Spiritually Charged And Confrontational Single, Here Is My Reflection On Its Message And Impact.

Christopher Rodriguez’s “Whom Seek Ye” comes across to me as a spiritually charged and structurally unconventional single that functions more as a direct interrogation than a traditional song. Recorded in Pueblo, Colorado, the track carries a grounded intensity that reflects both the artist’s roots and his resilience-driven identity, while its production remains deliberately minimal to keep focus on message over musical excess. Vocally, Rodriguez delivers with urgent, authoritative precision, moving between spoken-word phrasing and rap-like cadence in a way that feels prophetic and uncompromising, especially as he draws from biblical influences such as Moses, King David, Abraham, Noah, and the Prophets to construct dense scripture-laced lines. Thematically, the song challenges what he describes as a global deception, urging listeners to reassess their spiritual priorities and confront their relationship with divine truth, making the title itself feel like a constant personal question directed at the listener. Instrumentally, I find the mid-tempo hip-hop foundation, crisp percussion, and subtle electronic textures create a restrained yet meditative atmosphere, allowing the vocal message to dominate while the near-incomprehensible yet purposeful phonetic sections add a layer of complexity that mirrors spiritual revelation. Overall, “Whom Seek Ye” feels less like entertainment and more like a reflective spiritual encounter that lingers, demanding introspection long after it ends.
