    Daniel: You’ve built a reputation for “real music, real songwriting, and performance”, how would you define your identity as an artist today, and what continues to drive that authenticity?

    Jacob Chacko: Thank you Daniel for having me. Yes, I built my reputation with “real music, real songwriting, and performance” because that is the only way know how to make music. My identity as a musician first and foremost, I am an entertainer, storyteller, and an observer of people/events/issues. The goal of my music is to connect with the masses that comforts and bring some joy/fun.

    Daniel: Your sound blends pop/modern rock with blues, gospel, and country influences, how have these roots shaped your musical direction over the years?

    Jacob Chacko: Yes, my sound is a blend of many genres based on my various musical exposures and life experiences. I try not to limit my music to a particular genre and to keep an open mind/ear.

    Daniel: With multiple singles, albums, and projects already released, what do you believe has been the defining factor behind your consistency and growth as an artist?

    Jacob Chacko: With three albums already completed and working on the fourth, composing song/music just came naturally to me. Even though I started my original music later in life, finding my confidence that I am able complete end to end music composition and releases. Confidence and determination brought me the consistency.

    Daniel: “I Will Follow (Till The Ends Of The World)” centers on purpose and belonging, what inspired you to explore such a profound theme in this single?

    Jacob Chacko: Every person goes through life’s journey with doubts and challenges. Especially as a young adult, finding your purpose or direction will be questioned. When one figures out purpose and belonging, life becomes more focused and meaningful. It can also mean following your instincts as you navigate through life.

    Daniel: The song speaks about being part of something bigger than oneself, how does that message reflect your personal beliefs or life experiences?

    Jacob Chacko: We are part of humanity and God’s children. My faith in God and loyalty to family are integral parts of my ethos. In the big picture, we each play a part of a larger existence and purpose than just oneself.

    Daniel: The title itself carries a deep sense of loyalty and commitment, what does “following till the ends of the world” truly mean to you?

    Jacob Chacko: Once you are part of entity/movement/family/religion/ etc, loyalty becomes an essential ingredient. You will follow a higher calling, your instincts, leaderships of others, and to do whatever it takes; move heaven and earth and not be deterred by challenges.

    Daniel: Are there specific lines or moments in the lyrics that you feel capture the emotional core of the song most powerfully?

    Jacob Chacko: The line “to drift, into the void” … In a discontented world, as a young person, it is so easy to be distracted and thrown off balance. It is a struggle due to circumstances, choices made, and many other reasons.
    My favorite line is the chorus “Get me higher, further, I will follow, you till the ends of the world” . It gives a powerful euphoric calling to take that journey.

    Daniel: The track aims to uplift listeners still searching for their place, what kind of emotional or mental impact do you hope the song leaves on them?

    Jacob Chacko: My sincere wish is to give hope and uplift the spirit of the listener to find their destined purpose and journey in life.

    Daniel: The song features live guitars, keys, bass, drums, and a harmonised vocal choir, how did you approach arranging these elements to achieve such a vibrant, unified sound?

    Jacob Chacko: The song was built around the powerful chorus with a guitar. Then with the layering of other instruments, brought further life to the song. The icing on the cake was the drumming by Mike Dawson and the ever-enchanting backing vocals of Talya Gelfand. My production team of Les Lovell and Thomas Monaco took the song to the next level. Quite a team effort to make this powerful track.

    Daniel: The chorus is described as euphoric and highly memorable, what was the creative process behind crafting such a powerful hook?

    Jacob Chacko: Call it divine inspiration to come out with lyrics and melody simultaneously. You will know when it feels and sounds right, .. or I got lucky.

    Daniel: Working with Thomas Monaco, Talya Gelfand, and Les Lovell, how did each collaborator contribute to refining the song’s sonic depth and emotional impact?

    Jacob Chacko: Very fortunate to have great music team. Thomas Monaco (Co Vocal Producer) worked out the harmonies for both Talya and me. Talya Gelfand’s strong vibrant enchanting vocals complimented well with my singing. Les Lovell (Sound Engineer) is the maestro of mixing, tone, and final production of the music. I am also greatly appreciated to Les who help me kick start my music ambitions by helping setup my home studio.

    Daniel: This single marks the beginning of your “Give Me The Good Stuff” album campaign, how does it set the tone for what’s to come?

    Jacob Chacko: The current single is actually my sixth release from the album. There are two more songs to follow as the new album unfolds. Will keep you all posted. Please do checkout my catalogue of songs on Spotify:

    Daniel: Looking back at your journey, how has your understanding of purpose, both in life and music, evolved over time?

    Jacob Chacko: It has been a gradual buildup of confidence through trial and error, life experiences (good & bad), and various interactions with different types of people. Every moment and interactions are learning experiences to imagine and create music, art, story, etc.

    Daniel: You emphasize commitment and overcoming obstacles, what personal challenges have shaped that mindset in your career?

    Jacob Chacko: Overcoming and managing my health issues comes to mind. I am diabetic and asthmatic. Singing helped me with my asthma with breathing techniques, etc. Otherwise just being persistent and hard work to achieve goals and overcoming my shortcomings.

    Daniel: Your music often carries themes of hope and perseverance, how intentional are you about embedding these messages into your songwriting?

    Jacob Chacko: Very much so, I tend to shed light on certain themes or issues. My songs are primarily about hope and overcoming challenges. In my humble opinion, the duality of both issues makes the song relatable to the average person.

    Daniel: At this stage of your career, what does growth mean to you, not just musically, but personally as well?

    Jacob Chacko: At this stage in life/career, I am just happy to be alive and able to make music that people can hopefully enjoy. Would like to continue the musical journey if my body and mind allow me to do so.

    Daniel: How have fans responded to the song’s message of purpose and unity since its release?

    Jacob Chacko: I am very surprised by the positive response thus far. People seem to relate to the topic and emotions of the song. The music video also has a positive impact on the song. It has a feel-good storyline.

    Daniel: Do you feel a deeper connection with your audience when creating songs that speak to a universal struggles like identity and belonging?

    Jacob Chacko: Absolutely a song like this makes it relatable and accessible on so many levels to form a connection.

    Daniel: As you continue this album rollout, what can listeners expect next from the “Give Me The Good Stuff” project?

    Jacob Chacko: The last two song Shining Star (A James Bond like movie theme about two spies) and Love, Peace, Train (feel good party song). Very excited about these singles and album releases.

    Daniel: Looking ahead, what are your long-term plans, and how do you envision your music evolving in the future?

    Jacob Chacko: I enjoy the process of composing and delivering songs that people can relate. Fine tuning the composition process and maybe possible collaborations with other artists.
