In the foothills of Mount Baldy in California’s San Gabriel Mountains, Berklee College of Music graduate, acclaimed producer, and master luthier Martin Maudal initially envisioned the project as a showcase for the handcrafted guitars he builds through Maudal Musical Machines. Instead, it evolved into a richly collaborative ensemble featuring Elizabeth Hangan, Norrell Thompson, Marc Weller, Carl Byron, Ross Schodek, José Perez, and Maudal himself.
