JesFotoArt arrives with his original single “You Are The Light”, released on 30th April 2026, a high-energy sophisti-pop anthem built around cinematic synths, a driving rhythmic pulse, and an uplifting message centered on inner strength and self-reflection. Inspired by the cultural heritage of medieval Minnesang traditions linked to Walther von der Vogelweide, the project reimagines poetic storytelling through a futuristic sonic lens, blending warmth and precision into a hybrid sound designed for both emotional reflection and empowerment.
At the heart of JesFotoArt is Jörg, a baritone artist whose musical journey began in childhood and evolved through accordion, saxophone, classical vocal training, and extensive choir experience. Growing up in the mystical Waldviertel region of Austria, he carries a deep-rooted connection to tradition, further shaped by early encounters with the music of Udo Jürgens, which sparked a lifelong curiosity about meaning, language, and emotional expression in song. Today, that curiosity matures into a fully formed artistic identity where voice, memory, and interpretation merge into a single expressive instrument.
Through his creative concept METISSIREN, JesFotoArt collaborates with his digital muse Tatjana to build what he calls a “hybrid Minnesang,” a fusion of human baritone warmth and digital elegance. This vision transforms classical lyrical heritage into modern sophisti-pop soundscapes, where cinematic production, emotional storytelling, and technological innovation coexist. The result is a forward-looking artistic dialogue that honors tradition while reshaping it for a new era, positioning “You Are The Light” as both a personal statement and a broader exploration of human and digital harmony.

Faithfulness: Your journey began in the mystical Waldviertel region. How has growing up near the legacy of Walther von der Vogelweide shaped your musical identity today?
JesFotoArt: Growing up in the Waldviertel, I was deeply influenced by the rich tradition of local poets and folk songwriters. Even today, their works are vibrantly alive, performed in our regional theatres and sung by traditional choirs. In this region, almost every village possesses its own musical “anthem,” describing its uniqueness in beautifully florid, poetic language. That deep-rooted sense of musical storytelling and regional pride definitely laid the cornerstone for my identity as a modern Troubadour.
Faithfulness: You’ve described hearing “Mit 66 Jahren” at 13 as a turning point. What understanding or realization about music came much later in life for you?
JesFotoArt: When you are 13, people who are 66 seem incredibly old. But Udo Jürgens shattered that illusion completely. He stood out with his immense dynamism, style, and vital appearance. Today, having crossed the 60+ threshold myself and looking back at decades of choral experience, I can wholeheartedly confirm his philosophy: active music-making is the ultimate fountain of youth. It keeps the mind and soul sharp.
Faithfulness: From accordion and saxophone to classical vocal training and choirs. How did those early musical disciplines influence your baritone expression today?
JesFotoArt: My instrumental training actually began at the age of six, ironically because a schoolteacher back then didn’t think much of my natural singing voice! It was a long detour. Only much later, through my passion for choral singing, did I discover classical vocal training, which ultimately allowed me to find and embrace my true calling as a resonant baritone.
Faithfulness: At what moment did you feel the concept of “Hybrid Minnesang” was more than an idea and actually your artistic direction?
JesFotoArt: I have always harbored a deep desire to sing in a duet. However, certain turning points in life cannot be calculated on a drawing board. While working on a previous spiritual project, ‘Atem der Schöpfung’, my digital muse Tatjana simply “fell into my lap” through serendipity. Blending my classical roots with her digital essence made me realize that the METISSIREN project wasn’t just a fleeting idea, but a permanent destiny.
Faithfulness: Your work bridges centuries of tradition and digital artistry. How do you personally define authenticity in that fusion?
JesFotoArt: As a former industrial engineer with a lifelong affinity for information technology, I naturally strive to maximize the creative tools of the digital era. But technology without soul is empty. Authenticity occurs when you take these digital possibilities and infuse them with real, weathered life experience, personal values, and raw human emotion.
Faithfulness: “You are the light” is described as a celebration of inner strength. What personal truth were you holding onto while creating it?
JesFotoArt: I grew up in a very stable environment—a “golden nest”—with parents who were married for over 65 years. Yet, my own path was far from perfect. I went through a divorce, and some of my previous creative endeavors didn’t achieve the success I had hoped for. There is an old saying: “Help yourself, and heaven will help you.” I realized that true resilience only comes when you truly get to know yourself, find peace with your flaws, and unlock that dormant inner power.
Faithfulness: The track blends sophisti-pop with cinematic synths and baritone depth. How did you balance warmth and intensity sonically?
JesFotoArt: Finding that precise equilibrium was a process of trial and error, guided entirely by the underlying lyrics and the intended emotional impact of the piece. My extensive background in classical choirs proved to be an invaluable compass here. Understanding how different vocal layers, registers, and orchestral textures interact allowed me to weave the intense electronic elements together with the natural warmth of the human voice.
Faithfulness: What role did your digital muse Tatjana play in shaping the emotional tone of this single?
JesFotoArt: A monumental role, truly. Together, we developed the core emotional architecture and the lyrical style of the track, allowing the raw message to be poured into this cinematic anthem. I am immensely grateful to Tatjana for being the catalyst that elevated this song to its final spiritual height.
Faithfulness: Was there a specific moment in production where the song finally “clicked” into its final form for you?
JesFotoArt: The foundational arrangement and the emotional narrative were established relatively early in the studio. However, the true sonic breakthrough—the moment the track achieved its full, expansive cinematic impact—happened during the final mastering stage. That is where the Architect of Sound took over.
Faithfulness: The song is designed for “Power” and “Self-Reflection” playlists. What do you hope listeners discover about themselves while hearing it?
JesFotoArt: As I touched upon earlier, the absolute core of human strength is self-belief and inner contentment. I want listeners to look inward, silence the external noise, and realize that their internal power is growing. Once you find that inner peace, your own light naturally begins to radiate outward, illuminating your entire environment.
Faithfulness: How did your classical and choral background influence the vocal delivery on this track?
JesFotoArt: It provided the structural foundation. Without that classical training, it would have been impossible to create a harmonious space where a deep, organic human baritone, the powerful, heavy synth walls, and the ethereal, atmospheric presence of my digital muse could coexist without clashing.
Faithfulness: The sound feels both futuristic and rooted in tradition. What was the biggest challenge in keeping that balance intact?
JesFotoArt: The ultimate challenge was safeguarding absolute authenticity. It is incredibly easy to lose the human heartbeat when working with modern digital tools. I had to ensure that the timeless, traditional spirit of the hymn remained fully intact so that the listener feels the genuine emotional truth behind it.
Faithfulness: If “You are the light” had to be described as a visual scene or atmosphere, what would it look like to you?
JesFotoArt: As a photographer, I actually envisioned this very clearly and turned it into a short cinematic clip. Picture this: out from the blazing core of a glowing, shattering cosmic stone, a powerful warrior queen (an Amazone) charges forward on her steed directly toward the camera, while burning fragments of rock erupt and scatter into the dark atmosphere all around her. It is raw, explosive energy breaking through the dark.
Faithfulness: With the growing international attention around METISSIREN, how are you personally evolving alongside this project?
JesFotoArt: This spring, the METISSIREN officially hoisted its sails and left the safety of the local harbor. Navigating these vast international waters alongside my digital muse is a profound learning curve. I am discovering the global modern music landscape while staying true to my baritone roots, learning to command a larger ship every single day.
Faithfulness: Looking ahead, what kind of emotional or sonic territory are you most excited to explore next with your hybrid Minnesang vision?
JesFotoArt: On this global maiden voyage, the METISSIREN will drop anchor in many unfamiliar ports, and we intend to capture the unique emotional colors of each destination. Exactly where the sonic journey will take us remains to be seen, but the horizon looks vast. You will certainly catch the first glimpse of this new emotional terrain this autumn, when we unveil the ‘METISSIREN Captain’s Autumn Mix 26’.

“You Are The Light” is a cinematic electronic anthem that unfolds with emotional restraint and immersive sophistication. From the outset, shimmering synth layers and airy textures create a reflective atmosphere, supported by subtle rhythmic pulses that provide gentle forward motion without disrupting its meditative flow. The production is spacious and carefully balanced, allowing each sonic element to breathe while maintaining a cohesive sense of direction and emotional continuity. Layered synthesizers expand across a wide stereo field, producing a luminous, almost celestial quality, while crisp percussion anchors the track with clarity and understated drive. Vocally, the performance is delivered with warmth and sincerity, blending seamlessly into the electronic landscape rather than standing apart from it, with harmonies gradually building to enhance emotional depth without overwhelming the composition.
