NBC has officially announced the cancellation of five series, including its newest legal drama, Suits LA. After just one season, the Stephen Amell-starring spin-off failed to meet the expectations set by the original hit series on USA Network. This cancellation comes just before the airing of the Season 1 finale on Sunday, May 11.

Suits LA was created and produced by original writer Aaron Korsh. Besides the Arrowverse star, the ensemble cast included Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins, Troy Winbush as Kevin, Alice Lee as Leah, Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen, John Amos, Victoria Justice as Dylan Pryor, and Kevin Weisman as Lester Thompson. The show was executive produced by David Bartis, Doug Liman, Gene Klein, Anton Cropper, Genevieve Sparling, Rick Muirragui, and Jon Cowan.

What NBC series have been canceled?


In addition to Suits LA, cherished comedy shows Lopez vs. Lopez and Night Court were also terminated after three seasons, along with drama series such as The Irrational and Found. The latter two managed to last two seasons. Currently, Warner Bros. Television is reportedly seeking new platforms for Melissa Rauch’s Night Court sitcom and Shanola Hampton’s procedural drama Found.

Night Court was a revival of the 1980s sitcom of the same name. It featured Rauch as Judge Abby Stone, the daughter of the original show’s lead character Harry Stone, played by the late Harry Anderson. The cast also included John Larroquette, India de Beaufort, Lacretta, Nyambi Nyambi, Wendi Malick, and John Larroquette. The latter reprised his role as Dan Fielding from the original series.

Lopez vs. Lopez was led and produced by comedic actor George Lopez. The family sitcom focused on a father who moves into his estranged daughter’s home following his business bankruptcy. The cast also included Mayan Lopez, Matt Shively, Brice Gonzalez, Selenis Leyva, and Al Madrigal, with Rita Moreno, Cheech Marin, Caroline Rhea, and Jaime Camil appearing in recurring roles.

Found followed the journey of Gabi Mosely, a former kidnapping survivor who manages her own crisis management firm called Mosely & Associates (M&A). They worked jointly to locate missing individuals who have been overlooked by law enforcement and media. Besides Hampton, the series also starred Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Arlen Escarpeta, and Karan Oberoi.

The Irrational was a crime drama featuring The Flash alum Jesse L. Martin as Professor Alec Mercer. He utilized his expertise in behavioral science to assist governments, law enforcement, and corporations in solving intricate issues. The show also included Maahra Hill, Arash DeMaxi, Molly Kunz, and Travina Springer.
