The Canadian songwriter Quiet uses his nature and upbringing to present his perspective to his listeners. Quiet was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. His music has a vulnerable and soulful vibe as a result of the lyrics he uses to explain his life to his listeners. The Mighty Sparrow, Lionel Richie, Sade, and Amy Winehouse were among the artists he grew up listening to, but Jon Bellion and Joey Badass are his two favorite musicians.
In his music, he expresses himself in a sensitive and true way. He gives his listeners a small glimpse into his soul with each song. He said that “to me, music serves as therapeutic. I hope everyone listening, no matter how many, gets something from it”. It now acts as his life’s compass because music saved him at the moment when he didn’t know where to go”. He also said, “There are no genres or boundaries in my art; it is simply me.”
With over 12,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone, Quiet Art reflects his devotion. His debut track, TBU, has received over 120,000 streams in less than a year and has been included on 4 Spotify editorial playlists, including Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds R&B, Homework Vibes, and New Wave Neo-Soul.
