Faithfulness: You describe your music as something that should make people truly feel. When did that philosophy first become central to how you create?
ELTUS: I think it became central during my university years, when I first started organizing music events. That was the moment I understood that music is not just sound — it is energy, atmosphere, and emotion shared between people. Since then, I have always wanted my music to make listeners truly feel something.
Faithfulness: Being based in Paris, how has your environment shaped the emotional and sonic identity you’ve developed as a producer?
ELTUS: Although I am not currently based in Paris full-time, France has had a strong influence on my musical taste. I have friends there who truly love music, and through them I discovered many new artists and sounds that later became important to me. That exchange helped shape my emotional and sonic identity as a producer.
Faithfulness: You blend Bass House, Progressive House, and EDM into one sound. What guided you toward merging those specific styles rather than staying within one lane?
ELTUS: I have always been searching for a special sound — something that feels recognizable, emotional, and powerful at the same time. When I listened to different styles, I often felt that one element was strong, but something else was missing. So in my own music, I started combining the parts I truly love: the drive of Bass House, the emotion of Progressive House, and the wider energy of EDM.
Faithfulness: As an independent artist handling everything from concept to final master, how does that full creative control influence the honesty of your music?
ELTUS: For me, full creative control means being honest at every stage of the process. I try to live and create without falseness, so I only put into my music what I truly feel and believe. Everything comes from the heart, and I think that is what makes the final result more personal and real.
Faithfulness: Your work carries both energy and emotional weight. Do you see yourself more as a storyteller through sound, or as someone creating experiences for the moment?
ELTUS: I see myself more as someone creating experiences for the moment. For me, music is not only about telling a story — it is about making people feel something here and now. I want my tracks to create energy, emotion, and a sense of connection in the moment.
Faithfulness: “HUSH HUSH HUSH” feels built on tension, release, and movement. What was the emotional starting point that shaped the track at its core?
ELTUS: The emotional starting point was a desire for freedom — the feeling of rising above the world and breaking away from limitations. I wanted the track to carry that inner tension, but then transform it into movement, energy, and release. For me, “HUSH HUSH HUSH” is about that moment when emotion becomes power.
Faithfulness: You’ve said the record was inspired by a long-standing connection to “Hush Hush”. What was it about that feeling that stayed with you long enough to transform into your own identity?
ELTUS: The original track spoke more about the relationship between a man and a woman, and the meaning of “Hush” was different there. In my own interpretation, I wanted to give it another identity — more sensual, energetic, and free. For me, “HUSH HUSH HUSH” became a symbol of desire, movement, and personal freedom.
Faithfulness: Rather than recreating that influence, you reinterpreted it. What did you consciously choose to keep, and what did you feel needed to evolve?
ELTUS: I chose to keep the emotional connection I had with that original “Hush Hush” feeling, not to recreate the track itself. I added the third “Hush” to make it feel like a complete phrase — “HUSH HUSH HUSH” — and then built my own energy around it. For me, this track is a tribute to The Pussycat Dolls, to that song, and to the emotion it left in my soul.
Faithfulness: The track balances club energy with emotional depth. How intentional was that duality, and how difficult is it to get both sides to coexist naturally?
ELTUS: That duality is very natural for me. I have always loved going to club events and music festivals — that energy feeds me and inspires me. For me, a track is always a connection between the dance floor, emotion, and the feelings I experience inside. I try to pass that same feeling to my listeners.
Faithfulness: There’s a strong sense of momentum throughout the record. How did you approach building that feeling of continuous movement without losing emotional clarity?
ELTUS: I wanted the track to feel like it is moving forward from the very first seconds. The rhythm, bass, and vocal hooks were built to create constant motion, but I tried not to overload the sound, because the emotion still had to stay clear. For me, the goal was to keep the energy alive while allowing the listener to feel the meaning behind it.
Faithfulness: You mention translating emotion into impact. What specific moments in the track do you feel best capture that connection between feeling and physical energy?
ELTUS: For me, the strongest moment is the transition from the pre-drop into the drop, especially around the lines “Feel it rising / Don’t you stop” and “Hush, hush, hush / Make it rush.” That is where the tension becomes physical energy. The emotion rises first, and then the bass and rhythm turn it into movement.
Faithfulness: The production feels precise and deliberate. How did your independent recording environment shape the final identity of the track?
ELTUS: When I find the main idea for a track, I immediately start to imagine its production. I see the direction it should move in, what its foundation should be, and where its real strength is. Working independently gives me the freedom to follow that vision and shape the track exactly around the emotion and energy I feel.
Faithfulness: This release is described as a milestone in your journey. What does “HUSH HUSH HUSH” represent for you beyond just being a single?
ELTUS: “HUSH HUSH HUSH” represents a new stage in my life and in my musical journey. Through this track, I discovered new abilities, new confidence, and a clearer understanding of where I want to go as an artist. It is more than just a single for me — it is a step toward the musical future I am building.
Faithfulness: As you continue building your sound and audience, what kind of emotional imprint do you want listeners to carry after experiencing your music?
ELTUS: I want listeners to remember not only my tracks, but also the visual world I create through my videos. For me, music and visuals are part of one emotional universe, and together they express the identity of ELTUS. I want people to feel energy, freedom, sensuality, and a strong emotional connection whenever they experience my work.
Faithfulness: Looking ahead, how do you see your sound evolving while still staying true to that core idea of connection and feeling?
ELTUS: Emotion and feeling are the foundation of everything I create. Even in my videos, I try to touch something inside the viewer, because human beings are built on emotion. My sound will continue to evolve, become stronger and more refined, but that connection will remain unbreakable — ELTUS music will always be about feeling.
