Hailing from the west side of Chicago, Saneit is a budding R&B singer spreading her wings in Los Angeles, where she has grown known for a sweet voice and lyrics that echo reality and society. It has entered a new vibrant space in music with a lot of accomplishments in previous years that have shown their growth over time and how so much better they are becoming with their sound. You can clearly differentiate this from her working capabilities-in versatile diversity, like a chameleon. It reflects as well in her music and even in her career. Public Relations student from Howard University manages her public persona and brand quite successfully even as she’s managed to carve out that independence. Inspired by Whitney Houston, Monica, Lauryn Hill, and Missy Elliott, Saneit now stands ready to etch her name into the soundscape of R&B very soon.
The most recent single “Silent Mode” let out by Saneit is on 8 August 2024. It set the stage for yet more release of R&B sensibilities after her excursion in hip-hop with the “Hoes Mad” track. More than a song, “Silent Mode” is an artistic journey of Saneit as an artist: improvement in singing, song writing, etc. It is indeed modern R&B with a dreamy seductive piece that pays homage to the old-school flair but has recorded completely in tune with those listeners who would want to be driven into romantic atmosphere as one begins to listen.
Greeted by a well-angelic lazy tune to prepare the listener for what is to come next, it is as if the song: like an ethereal whistle, has intensified the gentle delivery of Saneit with that self-soothing mellifluous introduction: setting the intimate mood even from the very first breath. This melody would meander through the air like a voice whispering, drawing all people into a space where everything outside has faded away and the only thing that matters is the sound and everything it invokes within one. In addition, it has a good combination as far as arrangement goes; nothing exaggerated-all perfectly placed and appropriately put to contribute without overshadowing the whole piece’s atmosphere. The very delicate fusion of the instruments and vocals, including those of Saneit, engulfs the listener in an almost complete auditory cocoon that puts them into being itself a part of the whole music encircled by it.
Saneit has always been bringing sweet songs through her fairly soft, velvety voice that glides along the melody, creating a pacifying – almost hypnotic – effect. Inviting warmth and tantalizing assurance emanate from each of her vocal lines to bring in listeners into her world. The sound seems to convey meaning without the need for translation, making it most interpretatively laden in artistic styles, thus rendering it absolutely subtle and massively loud in its effect. So everyone could be a listener addressed separately to call him/her to take part in this moment of very private closeness and communion. Music that grows increasingly and adds more layers over time with very light instrumentation. The percussion is still quite subtle, but it really does serve as the heart of the song, with a sort of pulse that is the bedrock of everything else. A few light bass lines and soft synths create a nice inviting warmth, which makes for a rich and textured sound, really. Every instrument is selected and staged so carefully to amplify the mood of the track without overshadowing it. That shows her real focus on the details-the growth of Saneit as an artist and her pen sharpened for crafting songs that plechmusica and make you feel good too.
The most captivating and powerful feature of “Silent Mode” is that it creates a sense of airiness and space in the listening experience. The instrument really sounds spacious and cozy, as if Saneit is singing you a soft-lit song in a very private cavern. This is achieved with reverb and other production techniques that add to the track’s impression of depth and dimension. With this single, Saneit definitely asserts herself as an upcoming star in the ever-so-glamorous world of R&B. Silent Mode becomes more than a song and an invitation to shut the whole world out for a moment and come back to what is really important. With time and progress, Saneit will definitely create music understandable by people all around the world.
